The first published mention of Dr. Frank Schlittenberg in the weekly edition of "Science News" on November 28, 1959. The article briefly discusses his research into the world of cortical activation and specifically, compression induced laughter. Despite discovering the clear health issues that prolonged exposure to these compressions can cause, he incorporated the same technology years later into The Laugh Track.
It's not currently known if any riders ever experienced damage to their bodies or minds while riding The Laugh Track.
